What I Shipped in October 2026

October went mostly to two things: WooCommerce and FluentCart stores, and letting AI agents do real work inside WordPress. I launched 9 products, took Stackless for WooCommerce from 1.0 to 1.6 in 10 days and moved GT Extensions for FluentCart from 2.7 to 2.17.

This is the full list for everyone who supports my work here. Everything below updates from your WordPress dashboard as usual. The one exception is Core Bookings 1.0 beta, which upgrades the database, so I'd try that one on a staging site first.

New This Month

  • Stackless for WooCommerce (October 13). One WooCommerce add-on that replaces the usual plugin stack: subscriptions, software licensing, multi-currency, invoices, Stripe, PayPal, Polar, Paddle and Dodo Payments, plus 20+ store tools. Version 1.1.0 added a WooCommerce Optimizer that stops a store with something in the cart from prefetching about 50 Cart and Checkout scripts on every page. The 39-lesson training course works as the documentation.

  • Stackless WordPress Theme (October 14). A free, minimal classic theme for Stackless stores. It styles every shop page, checkout block, account screen and Stackless module.

  • Core Support (October 3). A WordPress helpdesk with tickets, a customer portal, a knowledge base, an AI chatbot and product changelogs. It reached 1.0.0 this month with public roadmaps people can vote on. It costs $199 once for unlimited sites and agents, and my own roadmap and changelogs run on it.

  • MailerHive (October 11). It turns a MailerPress newsletter into a publication on your own WordPress site, with issue pages, an archive and paid tiers. Version 1.4.7 adds share links on every issue without any third-party scripts.

  • Palladium (October 6). A premium FluentCart-only theme for clothing, shoes and accessories stores, with GT Extensions included. It is $59 a year for 1 site or $199 a year for unlimited sites.

  • Notion Templates Library (October 4). Notion templates with the playbooks built in, from blogging and SEO to freelancing and UPSC prep.

  • AI Skills Library (October 23). Writing and visual skills for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. The writing skills read your Voice DNA and profile, so drafts sound like you.

  • Design Systems Library (October 24). Design systems packaged for AI builders: tokens, rules, components and a skill your agent follows.

  • All-Access (October 23). The 3 libraries above are $39 a year each. All-Access covers all of them for $79 a year instead of $117, including everything added during the year.

Core Tables also reached its first stable release on October 23. It converts pasted HTML, Markdown, JSON or CSV into tables and imports from TablePress, Ninja Tables, wpDataTables and WP Table Builder without touching the originals. Version 1.1.0 added multi-series line charts and grouped bar charts.

Bigger Updates

GT Extensions for FluentCart 2.7 to 2.17. These are the changes most stores will notice:

  • Invoices: recurring invoices, deposits with an automatic balance invoice and reminders before and after the due date

  • Payment gateways: Polar, Paddle and Dodo Payments, and you can duplicate each one to take payments into a second account

  • Pay What You Like: buyers name their price, and your FluentCart price becomes the minimum

  • Modal Checkout and On-page Checkout: checkout opens from any button, or sits on any page with the plans

  • Coupon Affiliates: customers get a personal coupon and earn a commission on paid orders that use it

  • Shorter checkout: free digital products check out with a name and email, and 2.17 can hide parts of checkout, such as the billing heading and totals, when there's nothing to pay

Site Agent 0.1.5 to 0.5.2. My free WordPress MCP plugin now connects through OAuth by default, so Claude, ChatGPT or any OAuth-capable client can connect without an application password. It also ships builder skills for Gutenberg, GenerateBlocks, Elementor, Bricks and Divi, and workflow guides for MailerHive, FluentCart, Stackless and my other plugins.

GT Page Blocks Builder 4.1 and 4.2. Version 4.1 added a blank canvas template and a clearer library picker. In 4.2, an AI agent connected through Site Agent can build your pages and sections.

GT Link Manager 1.10.0. The same idea for short links: a connected agent can create and manage them for you.

GT Performance 1.3.0 to 1.3.6.

  • Multisite support, LiteSpeed server-cache integration and optional Apache and Nginx rules that serve cached pages without PHP

  • A fix for "Updating failed" on OpenLiteSpeed when a save purged hundreds of cached pages

  • Edge purging for sites on xCloud's Cloudflare Enterprise add-on

Core Forms 4.11 and 4.12.

  • A team inbox with assignments, private notes, due dates and saved views

  • Workflow rehearsal, which runs a form end to end without sending notifications or creating payments

  • Reusable field groups, and a form action that opens a Core Support ticket

Functionalities 1.7.0 added post and page duplication, a Link Health scanner and a Site Activity log. All 3 are off by default.

GT ACF Blocks 2.13 added 4 landing-page blocks: Pricing, Logo Cloud, Steps and Trust Bar.

In Beta

  • Core Bookings 1.0.0 beta 3: PayPal, Polar and Paddle payments, 19 optional modules and AI agent support. Updating from 0.20.0 upgrades the database, so staging comes first. You can also try it on the demo site.

  • Core Approvals 0.5.0 beta 1: the first beta, meant for staging sites and controlled pilots.

On the Blog

A few October articles go well with the releases above:

If you only try one thing from this list, I'd pick the one closest to a problem you already have. For a WooCommerce store paying for a separate add-on per feature, that's Stackless. If an update breaks something, post it in that product's space in the community and I'll get on it.
