You need a 3.0 API key to activate my watch face by using the default key, registering for the service, and setting a limit of 1000 calls per day. Then wait for a few hours for your API key to be activated on the OWM server.
To get 1,000 free API calls daily on OpenWeatherMap (OWM) with the 3.0 version, follow these steps:
Sign Up for an OpenWeatherMap Account:
Go to the OpenWeatherMap website.
Create an account by providing the necessary details.
Log In to Your Account:
After signing up, log in to your OpenWeatherMap account.
Choose the Free Tier:
https://home.openweathermap.org/subscriptions
Go to the Pricing page.
Select the "Free" plan, which offers 1,000 API calls per day.
Ensure that the plan includes access to the API 3.0 version.
Generate an API Key:
Go to https://home.openweathermap.org/api_keys
Click "Generate" to create your API key.
Copy Your API Key and insert to your watch
Once the API key is generated, it will be displayed on the screen.
Copy this API key to use in my Watch Face - SETTING and lowest free space for API key
Press Save
Your Garmin watch face should now be able to access weather data using the OpenWeatherMap API key you provided after several hours - Cause your key need to be actived on OWM sever.
Please dont forget to go outside - Your watch need fletch data from GPS - Now your watch is fully automatically online and no need sync your phone everytime.
