I’m so excited to share my journey and music with you. My name is Gabrielle, and I’m a harpist with nearly 25 years of experience performing at a variety of events, from weddings and private parties to corporate galas and beyond. My music is a unique blend of genres, including Anime, Celtic, Christian, Christmas, Pop and Contemporary, Musicals, Movies, Classical, New Age, and Japanese composers. My specialty is creating unique arrangements, blending songs into seamless medleys, and even composing custom pieces for special occasions.
About Me
Music has always been a part of my life. I started on the piano as a child, inspired by my mom, who taught lessons to kids in our neighborhood. While I loved the sound of the instrument, I quickly grew frustrated with practicing and didn’t feel fully connected to it. That all changed one night when my family attended an Amy Grant concert when I was 9 years old. Our seats overlooked the orchestra, and as soon as I saw the harpist, I was completely mesmerized. In that moment, I knew the harp was the instrument I was meant to play.
That Christmas, my grandfather gave me my very first harp—a Shepherd’s lap harp—along with a stack of books to help me learn. My mom and I dove into the process together, and I quickly fell in love with the instrument. By high school, I was playing in the concert band, performing at events and competing against other schools. When I went to college, I had the opportunity to learn on a pedal harp and study under Julia Ann Scott, which transformed my playing. Performing with the college orchestra was one of the most memorable experiences of my life and pushed me to grow as both a musician and an artist.
After graduation, I began performing at small events and weddings, slowly building my business and refining my craft. Today, my goal is to share my music with as many people as possible, from intimate gatherings to corporate events, while continuing to explore new opportunities as a harpist. One day, I hope to compose original songs and create music videos that bring my unique style and passion to a broader audience.
