"I am Mariia Krasnykh, a citizen of Ukraine who had to flee her country due to the Russian aggression. I am reaching out to you in order to ask for your financial support for the soldiers of my hometown-Mykolaiv, one of whom is my brother. Here is the story behind it. A week ago my brother reached out to me asking whether I could help him get a uniform for 5 soldiers in our city. Seemed easy. Little did I realise Europe is struggling with an ammunition shortage due to the ongoing war. It took us three people and four days to skim through hundreds of shops all around the globe and finally find what they needed. We have spent a total of 1750$ to equip 5 people. Later the same day as all the orders (from 6 stores) were complete, I started reaching out to my friends and people around asking to help me cover the expenses (50% we have covered ourselves). In two days we have not only managed to cover the cost of the goods but collect 1120$ on top of what we have spent. So we decided not to stop there. Long story short, right now we are looking to collect 3000$ in order to buy bulletproof helmets for the needs of the army (around 300-500$ ea) . At this point we already have 1120$ (as stated before) . Every cent is appreciated.
