9/01... It's that day! The day of turning 45. Yep, that's correct - it is my birthday today and I felt this was a good day to provide an update to you all!
Things have been pretty good since the last time we talked!
I've been going to trauma therapy for around 1 year & it's been such a great experience. We have been doing a lot of EMDR on my compounded trauma and it's been working. I didn't realize how much bullshit I was dealing with in the background. It was definitely holding me back and now we can move on past that trauma. It's been great and I recommend it to everyone. People who think they don't need therapy should also seek therapy imo.
The food co-op has been great. I've now been there for about 6 months. Maybe? The time has gone really fast and I really enjoy working with my co-workers. Within 4 month I had been nominated twice for the Employee of the Quarter Award called The Cooper Award!
The second, time I WON!!
What's awesome about The Cooper Award is that it's nominated and voted on by my co-workers. It was amazing and a perfect introduction to the co-op!
In other news, we have now completed one full year of A Fuzzy World Reading Collective! In that first year, we have read a total of 10 books! Reading that many books in a year is so wild to me! Before doing the reading night I hadn't read anything in ages and along with those 10 books I also read more on the side. I love it! If you haven't yet please join us one of these Monday nights! Let's see, what else? Oh, Luna and the Wu-Tang Cats are doing great! Luna & I go out on walks every day, while the boys lounge about the place. We have a nice little family going on over here at The Fuzz House. My garden could use some lovin' but I feel like I really haven't had much time to chill in there.
