Acerca de Funky House Radio
Funky House Radio is a Chicago house station with three DJs, Hank, Lisa and Mike, and one rule: every record was made by somebody, so we tell you who.
Behind it is one person, a former club DJ who played from 1979 to 1995 and never stopped digging through crates. Every record is picked by hand, every story is researched, and every show is written and mixed from scratch. The DJs’ voices are made with AI. Everything else is made by a person.
Running a licensed station isn’t free. The streaming and the music licences that pay the artists, the records themselves, the website and the tools all cost money every month. If you like what you hear, a coffee helps keep the music playing.
Hank drinks his black. He’d want you to know that.
