About FTD Navigating the Cr*p Podcast
A podcast to help those on a dementia journey feel less alone.
In February 2024, my amazingly wonderful mum was diagnosed with young-onset Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) - a progressive and irreversible disease with no known cure or way to slow it down. It was devastating, and it continues to be devastating.
In March 2025, I launched my podcast, FTD Navigating the Cr*p, where I share my family’s experience and speak with others affected by dementia, as well as dementia experts.
When Mum was first diagnosed, I felt incredibly alone. The thought of anyone else feeling that same isolation is heartbreaking, so I share our story in the hope of helping others in similar situations feel a little less alone. 💕
