I’ve always been drawn to the stories that appear in tarot cards.
Not the dramatic fortune-telling version, more the quieter kind of noticing. The symbols, the characters, the strange little narratives that appear when a few cards land on the table together.
Friday Cards is a small project where I explore tarot in this wiggly storytelling way.
Each week I pull some cardsand see what story emerges. Sometimes it points to a theme worth reflecting on. Sometimes it asks an unexpected question. Sometimes the cards simply hold up a mirror to something already present.
For me, tarot works best as a tool for reflection, curiosity and storytelling.
Alongside these weekly reflections, I also write about tarot practice and card stories over on Substack. That space is where I explore the ideas in a bit more depth through my tiny tarot experiments including the symbolism, the patterns across spreads, and the way tarot can help us think differently about our lives.
