Level I — Foundations

Begin at the roots of oil painting, where pigment, patience, and light come together.

Students are introduced to essential materials, fundamental techniques, and the language of colour theory. Through guided practice, they develop confident brushwork, thoughtful composition, and an understanding of layering. By the end of this level, participants create a diverse body of work that reflects their emerging skills and artistic potential.

Level II — Exploration & Expression

Build upon the foundations as technique deepens and expression begins to unfold.

This level encourages students to refine their control of paint while exploring mood, texture, and personal interpretation. Advanced colour mixing, compositional balance, and expressive brushwork are emphasised. Participants experiment across subjects, expanding their visual vocabulary and strengthening their individual style through a growing portfolio.

Level III — Mastery & Personal Voice

Arrive at a place where skill serves intention and vision takes form.

Level III focuses on artistic maturity, conceptual thinking, and technical mastery. Students develop a cohesive body of work that reflects clarity of voice and confidence in execution. Emphasis is placed on refinement, critical observation, and professional presentation—culminating in a portfolio that speaks with depth, purpose, and identity.
