About ruthi // forest hearth
trying to find the right words…
we’re all struggling
in our unique way
and i wish i could hold you
and make it ok
//
if coffee was currency
if hugs were enough
if these words could find you
and fill you back up
//
these poems are my offering;
a bridge in the gap,
a fallen log in the muck,
a dark-preserved star
//
so i’m throwing a rope
and hoping to reach you
to pull me to shore or
keep our heads above water
