In the post section here you will find a bunch of free written tutorials with photos covering some of my favourite basket designs.
I hope they're helpful and if you get round to making any of them I'd love to see! it brings me so much joy to see so many people connecting with the land and plants in this beautiful way. I would highly recommend it, it makes you care for these lovely leafy beings that grow all around us like nothing else.

As most of you know I am currently in the long process of writing a book about all I have learnt about the world of plants and their fibres but it's a massive struggle to find the time between making baskets to sell, keeping up with social media and life as I'm sure most people will get!
it's not easy making a living from craft these days and keeping up with the whole social media thing has become a full time job so any support is massively appreciated. Be that in the form of a brew, sharing my work or a friendly message of encouragement. Better still somebody come here and lock me in a room with a type writer and take away all of my responsibilities until I've finished writing!

I think if I could develop the knowledge and skills to take up this hobby/pass time as both an excuse to get out into the nature more and to sit in the calm creative almost meditative space of crafting, it could be so healing and enriching for me. I will start with the tutorials here and look forward to the book when ready.
