Making a fishing toy

I’m in the process of making a children’s toy. It’s laser engraved a cut, there are to sides cut separately and then glued together with a nail placed by the mouth. The fishing rod is just a long plant stick with a linen thread and a magnet. I wanted to make a fun toy that also help train fine motor skills. Here is a short video of the toy in action.
