Here's the floor plans for the Raven's Roast and how I translated it into House Flipper 2!
This one was a challenge to figure out placements. The only things I knew for sure were that I wanted it to be a blocky, brick building with a large window taking up most of its street-facing wall. I knew there needed to be a non-intrusive stage for open mic nights and have all of the amenities of a cafe. It was also a challenge figuring out how to fit as much seating as I could in the space while still having the ability to move around.
So I tucked the stage into the corner and moved the counter from the back of the room where it was in the demo's design and put it on the side by the windows. I felt like that would be better, since passersby can see how busy the shop is or isn't and also get a direct look into the kitchen that's cooking up all the delightful baked goods. I'm very happy with how the counter turned out, which is arguably the most important part due to the fact that one of the romanceable characters will be stationed behind it frequently!
As with Hole in the Wall Books, neither of these renderings perfectly emulate what the final design will be in-game, but the 3D rendering definitely helps me navigate the space (and interesting camera angles) for when the time comes to illustrate the place!
