When buying a coffee, there is an optional placeholder to say something nice. Put your home or beloved city there, and I will do a notebook, that addresses it.
What I create
Data-driven cities need data-driven community leaders.
I'm making municipal programming and data analysis more approachable and accessible to individuals interested in gaining open data skills.
I use F# and Polyglot Notebooks to promote civic programming and F# as the municipal language.
I'm publishing my work under the Florence umbrella of libraries:
- Florence.GeojsonCloud to use open city data right away
- Florence.DistanceProvider to provide spatial, walking, cycling and driving measures in a form of DSL (integrated with Mapbox Directions API)
- Florence.Notebooks to evaluate any place by writing single F# function and analyze results on maps
- several F# (Feliz) frontend utility applications that can be used directly from notebooks:
- FSQStudio formatter that displays calculated rankings on map
- Mapbox autofill and matrix API UI's to gather city locations and converts to DSL types
