In early 2016, my wife of 12 years was diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer. She has a form of mesothelioma in the peritoneum. Over the years since as a family we have faced numerous battles, from chemotherapy to immunotherapy to radiotherapy, to 10 hour operations, comas and long hard recoveries. Through it all, she has faced everything, and is still here for our two children. I am trying various ways to save my mental health, one of which is writing, so there will be short stories here every so often
