The characters in the new Fistbump the Sky series, The Map Maker, have passed the first two planets of their current cycle.
The series unfolds through illustrated letters, diary entries, and visual breaks between characters. Which means it’s up to the readers to piece the clues together to uncover the story. The Map Maker has its own publication, so if you missed it, now is the time to catch up.
Now that the first two planets have been passed, it’s time for a short break.
With our Earth year also approaching its end, I will be taking a short break from posting The Map Maker in order to

Or, more specifically, into physical reality. There are a bunch of exciting events taking place soon, so there’s no better time to start planning the physical version of The Map Maker. It’s also about time I focus on the next Fantastical Encyclopedia book and recharge my mental battery.
The process and the behind-the-scenes of bringing The Map Maker into reality will be shared over on the Slugs of Life newsletter for those of you who would like to follow along. Just a heads-up: with my brain, there’s a lot of hopping around between tasks and topics.
