What do you do?

I'm a Product Manage... naah! I hated being asked that question. Always felt like my entire world was reduced to my job. Like I had to have everything figured out for now and the next 5, 10, or 20 years. I guess we've built this simple little world where careers define us, routines comfort us, and certainty gets rewarded. Where sidestepping expectations is seen as reckless. But isn't it more reckless to know what to expect in the next 10 years? To leave no room for life to just happen?

So I let go of this nonsense. Ended my relationship, sold most of my stuff, and left London. I started living out of a backpack. I quit my job. Not all at once, but one step at a time. I wanted to feel movement and danger, not the dying course of existence

What do I do now? I'm out there. Hitchhiking thousands of miles. Climbing mountains. Sleeping in fields. Staring at the endlessly changing horizon. Trying to see behind walls to feel free. To feel alive

My dear friend, there's no right way to live life. But there's your way. The one you've always dreamed of. And it's waiting out there for you to reach it
