Hi!

I’m a dad, husband, and data scientist. When I’m not frenetically trying to keep up with my daughter, I code sometimes.

I initially built FI Forecast as a fun project over a month-long PTO break. My goal was and still is to accurately model my finances throughout my lifespan.

I realized that my more flexible approach to modeling for myself may also appeal to others. However, I was pleasantly surprised that I vastly underestimated that appeal! Each time I have shared this website, my server gets taken out. I have upgraded my server three times now, and I expect that trend to continue.

I want to keep this project up and running and free. If you’re willing and able to help chip in for server costs, I would appreciate it! But please do not feel obligated to and please don’t if you’re in a financial bind.
