“Goddamned beavers!” Seemed as fast as Ralph relocated one batch another moved in, building their blasted dams.
“The dam’s not hurting anything, Dad. Besides, the wetlands it creates are important.”
Ralph gave Marilee the stink eye. He knew what was coming next.
“You know the beavers were here first, right?”
