If you know me, you probably know that I’ve been craving a fresh start. Well, it’s officially happening: in 6 months, I’m packing my bags and moving from Perth to Melbourne to start a Graduate Diploma in Cultural and Creative Industries at Monash.

I’m incredibly excited (and honestly, a little terrified) to finally throw myself into the creative scene over east.

Living at home in Perth means my overheads are low right now, so I am working hard and saving every dollar I can from my pay to make this happen.

But moving interstate from scratch is spenny; between flights, accomodation bond, and setting up a bare room with basic furniture, the upfront costs add up fast.
