creating open source gaming software and hardware
I'm the creator of the open source GP2040 gamepad firmware for Raspberry Pi Pico and the Pico Fighting Board projects.
GP2040 is a passion project of mine providing an inexpensive solution for building a super low latency and feature rich arcade stick with a $4 Raspberry Pi Pico, and provides compatibility with PC, MiSTer, Raspberry Pi, Nintendo Switch and more, has less than 1ms of input latency and fancy features like per button RGB LEDs and support for OLED status displays.
The Pico Fighting Board (available for purchase at https://shop.feralai.com) is a carrier PCB for the Raspberry Pi Pico that fits in most aftermarket arcade stick cases, and transforms the Pico into an arcade stick encoder board with the hardware to support the features of GP2040. This makes it an inexpensive and powerful option for a custom fightstick or even an arcade cab setup!
Are you a GP2040 or Pico Fighting Board user and have the urge support my work? Did I provide you amazing support on our OpenStick Discord and you'd like to leave a tip? Want to ...ahem..."incentivize" me to prioritize new features in GP2040? Now's your chance!
