I started my Substack after the election to blow off steam and maintain my sanity. It's turned into much more than that as I revisit my journalism roots and try to make sense of the madness. I also write some pop culture for said sanity.
I've had a long career in advertising but went freelance in '23, which has its ups and downs. Given my experience and proximity to the auto industry, things have been down in the last year (thanks, Trump!) and this has become pretty much a full time gig.
