Theologians talk about things called the creation ordinances, natural laws that were built into our world from the beginning and that can be found in every culture in the world, including a reverence for human life, the right to marry, to have a family, to work and to rest.
I find it interesting that not even the most extreme anti-immigrant political party is suggesting the immigrants be killed on arrival or that they be sterilised or not allowed to marry but it is quite mainstream to believe that newcomers not be allowed to work and the idea of a day of rest to protect us all is quite forgotten.
