Although I have seen a lot of grace on Lothian Buses, there is one place where the law reigns, and it's in the queue.
Queuing in Edinburgh is highly sophisticated because we don't necessarily stand in a line but we do get on the bus in the order we arrive at the bus stop. And woe betide anyone who hasn't paid attention and pushes in. Of course, this being Edinburgh, nobody will say anything, but we all know wrong has been done.
I once heard a bus driver say to some tourists who jumped the queue, "This is Edinburgh you know!"
