Good day everyone.. its been a while from my last post a few months ago.. I have been busy with teaching these few months and a lot has happened. Hopefully after this hiatus i can continue making 3d print projects for everyone to print..
First off is a new project.. baby rex candy bowl for halloween.. the idea came when one of my friend went to Universal studios for summer holiday.. he took pictures of the jurassic world popcorn bucket sold in the park.. i showed it to my nephew and he wanted one.. so here is it.. my version of the toy.. 
Following the same concept as the Universal studios popcorn bucket.. i made his legs and tail articulated.. so it will move when you pick it up.. i have sized the baby rex to print on the standard A1 & X1.. the claws and teeth are all printed separately so you can print it with TPU if you want too.. 
All the teeth and claw needs to be glued together.. the hinges for the mouth and tail are spring loaded.. so there is no external hardware need.. all parts will be 3d printed.. The inside of the baby rex is a small bucket that can be removed for refill purposes.. i printed my red to look like the inside mouth of the rex..
Next up are new suspended star wars ships.. i am reusing the old millenium falcon and tie fighter to create a pair of new suspended book nook.. i used the scene on Planet Crait in the Last Jedi film.. where the millenium falcon is flying through the red crystal caverns being chased by tie fighters..
the difference in this book nook now is that the millenium falcon ship is in the middle of the book nook.. using the new suspended technique i learned to make the ship printed on supports in the middle of the book nook and the strings are also stronger to support the ship.
And as always i have added channels in the middle of the book nook for LED strips.. although it is really hard to manuever it inside the channel.. i recommend adding a pause on the last layer before the channel is closed and add the led strips..
Here is the tie fighter version.. i added 2 tie fighters in this book nook.. one below and in front.. and another behind on top.. one of them will be printed on supports.. i have test printed it using normal basic PLA and it works.. now i am printing it with multicolor..
Both book nook have crystal walls on both side but are open on top.. the book nook is being held together by a center crystal that crosses the book nook and connect both walls.. the millenium falcon is printed using normal basic pla while the tie fighter that im printing now.. i am trying the Bambu PLA translucent for the red crystal..
FYI.. i might try the Makerworld crowdfunding with the baby rex candy bowl.. i will be designing halloween costumes for the baby rex candy bowl.. there will 3 different version costume of the baby rex.. skeleton suit.. frankenstein monster and zombie.. i am currently working on a skeleton costume for the baby rex and if makerworld approved of the project.. it will be running the crowdfunding from mid september for one month.. All my merchants will get the models exclusively free for this project to sell as well..
I will also start uploading 3d models on a monthly basis rather than weekly.. i have to plan and schedule the projects when im free from my classes.. and because its on monthly basis.. there will be multiple 3d print projects.. like this one.. as always all the project files will be included in the google drive folder i emailed everyone..
