For years, my dream was to work as a professional cataloguer at a major auction house. I wanted to be the one digging through archives, verifying provenance, and writing those beautiful descriptions that bring a collection to life. But, as life often goes, the “traditional” path didn’t open up for me. After one too many rejection letters, I realized I didn’t need a desk at a fancy auction house to do what I love. I started CoinStampDB as a passion project to build the resource I always wanted: a place where the story of the item is just as important as its grade or market value.
