An area of disturbed weather, located near The Bahamas -- has a low (10%) to medium (50%) chance of developing.
...It is currently forecast to move into the Gulf of Mexico by early next week -- posing no threat to us.
...this will be our last mention of this system, unless it develops.
* White:
A slowly-developing tropical wave approaching the Caribbean, now designated as invest 90L -- centered at 12°N 59°W -- now has a medium (40-60%) chance of developing.
...It may or may not have enough time to develop before affecting the Caribbean this weekend.
...Regardless of development: Showers, Breezy conditions, Rough Seas, and possible flooding are expected across the Eastern Caribbean from tonight (south Carib) & late Sun (SSS Islands) through Mon/Tue.
⚠ We will continue to monitor this system closely.
* Light Blue:
Tropical Depression #6 (formerly Invest 99L) formed at 5pm this afternoon at 16.7°N 50.2°W (+/- 860mi ESE of SSS Islands), moving WNW at 16mph.
...Although TD #6 is expected to be a short-lived system, its remnants may affect the Eastern Caribbean (including the SSS Islands: St. Maarten-Saba-St. Eustatius) by middle- to late- next week (if it holds together).
...However if it does become a tropical storm, it would be called ‘Emily'.
* Yellow:
The system designated as invest 98L -- centered at 16°N 35°W -- still has high (70%) chance of developing within the next 2-7 days -- meaning it can also become a short-lived tropical depression over the weekend.
…Regardless of development, this system will veer off into the north Atlantic -- (currently) posing no threat to the Caribbean.
* Grey:
A new tropical wave -- located along 18°W -- already has a low (0-20%) chance of developing within the next 2-7 days.
...It is way too early to determine the intensity, path, or effects of this system -- if any.
