My thoughts on Juneteenth 🖤

Juneteenth is a necessary holiday to celebrate. We should never forget the pain the our black female ancestors went through. But hold on……this doesn’t necessarily mean I am pro black. I only care about the rights of black women and girls / women all around the world.💜. I would say I’m definitely a womanist. A womanist is a black female feminist who prioritizes black women's unique needs. I could never forget a Harriet Tubman who paved the way for slavery coming to an end. Or the likes of Eida B Wells who addressed white feminist on excluding black women’s problems. Or Rosa park who wouldn’t get up from her seat on the 🚌 bus for a white person. I will always honor black women’s accomplishments ✨. 💜I decided to celebrate Juneteenth and go to a black owned restaurant. It was a waffle and chicken spot. The food was okay 🍗 🧇. It wasn’t my favorite. I had an underwhelming holiday. Last year Juneteenth was better I watched a black horror movie 🎥. The cast did an amazing job. I will keep this short I just got through cleaning up around the house 🏠 well every one have a safe holiday and I can’t wait to write about my pride parade experience that I will be going to
