I wanted to share one of my first official releases. It’s an electronic hybrid track where I’ve blended synthesized sounds with real recordings of guitar and bass. This was my first real experience with the genre; while I’m not sure exactly what influenced the composition, I’ve always been inspired by bands like The Chemical Brothers, Depeche Mode, Fatboy Slim, and the Beastie Boys.
The song has a dystopian edge. It explores how society is shaped by the constant flow of information and the subtle behavioral control exerted by those who hold power over that data, which is exactly what inspired the title.
