'ESSENCE' sets out to be a third space where freedom, authenticity and creativity is celebrated. Black and queer led, our mission is to create a community where people feel accepted, loved and affirmed in their identity, where no one is put in a box or judged.

‘Essence’ strives to be a breath of fresh air in world where it is hard to be breathe sometimes. We exist to create safe, joyful, and radical spaces/events that uplift marginalised voices while respecting anonymity and creative freedom.

We run on donations and collaborating with the community, your donations will help us acquire the funds for venues, DJ's, catering and performers at our first events.
