Acerca de Emily Santanberg — Inner Chapel
Slow Scripture. Quiet faith. Shared faithfully.
This is the quieter side of Emily Santanberg. Here I read Scripture slowly and sequentially — not to perform it, but to sit with it. I write daily reflections as I move through the Bible noticing questions as much as answers, and allowing the text to resist easy conclusions. If you’ve found me through X or BlueSky, this is the inner room — the place where the thinking behind Emily’s Female Saints Fest is formed rather than broadcast. Nothing here replaces Scripture, and nothing is written to go viral. It’s simply companionship in reading, prayer, and attention. You can follow my public work and Female Saints Fest on X as @ESantanberg or on BlueSky as @emilysantanberg.bsky.social

They shared ancestry and Scriptures, but disagreed profoundly about worship, identity an...

I started reading John 4. Then something from the previous two chapters suddenly clicked. And now I can't unsee it. Back to Cana In John 2, Jesus goes to a wedding. He's just a guest. Then the wine runs out. Mary tells Him. Jesus quietly turns an enormous amount of water into wine — and apparently very good wine. The strange thing is that almost nobody knows. The master of the banquet congratula...
