I’m Eric-Michael Wilson—writer, journalist, entrepreneur, researcher, and community advocate based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
My work sits at the intersection of storytelling, public accountability, technology, culture, housing, homelessness, spirituality, and community development. I’m building projects that investigate public systems, preserve overlooked histories, create practical civic tools, and develop new forms of independent media and entrepreneurship.
After experiencing years of homelessness myself, I care deeply about work that is not merely observational, but useful: research that helps people understand systems, journalism that asks harder questions, technology that improves access to information, and businesses that create dignity, opportunity, and tangible community value.
I’m also a fiction writer and aspiring screenwriter, developing stories about identity, power, family, survival, belief, and the strange ways people make meaning out of difficult lives.
