Thanks again for the coffees and beers. An update on my writing: I had some good scenes and ideas for my chapter on being a barista for Starbucks, but I had to put it aside since it wasn't quite coming together. I decided to come back to it later.
Instead, I decided to start on a chapter about my time as an ex-gay, or, more specifically, as a gay guy who tried for a while to be straight. As you all know, it didn't work. :) I'm doing more research on the rhetoric of the ex-gay movement and the shifts the movement had to make over the years. I match up my story (including a year I spent at an ex-gay ministry) with the different phases of the movement. So, it'll be a heavy chapter, but I'm trying to include some humor where I can.
