Building products with AI, I kept hitting the same two walls: I could not see where the project stood, and at some point the model dropped the rules we had agreed on and started improvising.
Kortext is my answer.
A small open-source tool that turns a plain brief into a product constitution before a single line of code is written: 10 expert personas write 14 architecture documents, each one lands in front of you for approval, and the chain only moves forward when you say so.
It uses the agent CLI you already have installed (Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity CLI, etc.); it calls no API, holds no key, writes no code.
Once the documents are settled, Kortext steps aside; your own agent writes the code, in whatever interface you already use.
I build Kortext alone, in the evenings, and release it under MIT.
