I'm a back-end developer with 10+ years' experience building and scaling web applications across e-commerce, real estate, and insurance for clients in Switzerland, the UAE, and the wider Middle East.

My core specialism is PHP/Laravel: designing RESTful APIs, multi-tenant architectures, and performance-tuned data layers (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB). I've also delivered production work in WordPress and Magento 2.

Alongside development, I'm the author of two technical books Ruby Programming (Kodlab, 2016) and Modern Bash Scripting (2026) and I teach Ruby to thousands of students through my Udemy course.

I bring a strong Linux and DevOps foundation (Docker, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, AWS) that lets me own systems end-to-end, from development through to production. Most recently, I led a 5-person Linux & Observability team, building out monitoring infrastructure (Zabbix, Grafana, Metabase) for a portfolio of leading Turkish companies.
