About Emma Gardner Writes
Creating podcasts, crime updates & behavioural analysis
Hi, I’m Emma Gardner, creator of The Compulsion Files.
I create daily crime briefings, courtroom updates, behavioural analysis and deep-dives into the cases everyone is watching.
From high-profile UK crime stories to major US courtroom trials, I explore the psychology, corruption, addiction, institutional failures and unanswered questions behind the headlines.
The Compulsion Files focuses on:
⚖️ Daily crime updates
⚖️ Courtroom Watch
⚖️ Behavioural analysis
⚖️ Cases that don’t add up
⚖️ Institutional failures & corruption
⚖️ Psychology behind criminal behaviour
I closely follow ongoing cases including Karen Read, Mickey Stines, Sandra Birchmore, Zachariah Anderson and other major courtroom developments attracting global attention.
Alongside the podcast and YouTube channel, I’m also creating:
🗂️ Crime Case Tracker downloads
📚 Books & writing projects
🧠 Behavioural and psychology content
☕ Independent creator resources
If you’d like to support independent research, podcast creation and future projects, you can support the channel here.
Because sometimes the most important part of a case… is the part nobody wants examined too closely.
