À propos Elizabeth Solaru
Artist
I'm a luxury business consultant, author, and founder of the Diversity in Luxury Awards. I wrote The Luxpreneur to help entrepreneurs build businesses that attract high-value clients, and it was added to the World Luxury Chamber of Commerce's official Luxury Library as essential reading for industry professionals.
But my work has evolved.
I'm currently writing Anatomy of a Smear Campaign, a book that examines how public narratives are constructed, how reputations are systematically destroyed, and how women, particularly women of colour, are targeted when they become too visible, too successful, or too unapologetic.
This book matters to me deeply. It sits at the intersection of everything I care about: power, perception, media literacy, and the courage it takes to tell a different story from the one being forced into the headlines.
How Your Support Helps
Writing a book like this takes time. Research. Careful documentation. The freedom to follow the story wherever it leads without worrying about who it might offend.
Your contribution, however small, helps me:
Dedicate focused time to research and writing
Access archives, reports, and sources that require investment
Stay independent and tell the truth without compromise
Keep creating content that challenges dominant narratives
Every coffee you buy is a vote of confidence. It tells me that this work matters, that someone out there wants to see it finished, and that I'm not writing into a void.
What You Get
Beyond my gratitude, supporters get early insights into my research, behind-the-scenes updates on the book's progress, and the knowledge that you're part of something bigger: a community of people who believe that truth still matters and that the story doesn't always belong to those with the loudest megaphones.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping me do work that I believe will make a difference.
With gratitude,
Elizabeth

The Wales's last major joint royal tour was the Caribbean in March 2022. That tour is now known as the Flop Tour. Crowds were thin. A fence handshake became one of the most photographed images of the year. The optics were widely described as colonial. The tour generated significant criticism and very little diplomatic goodwill. It was followed by silence on the joint tour front for over four years...
