Hello everyone, dear fans! 👋 Out of pure curiosity,

I wanted to open a

conversation about identities and community. What kind of fursona or identity do you have? Are you part of the

LGBTQ+ community, or do you identify with the

alterhuman community and other unique experiences?

Remember, sharing,

exploring, or having any of these identities is completely a matter of personal choice and is never mandatory! Here is a guide to some of the incredible and diverse communities out there:

LGBTQ+ Community: A diverse worldwide community supporting individuals of diverse sexual orientations, romantic orientations, and gender identities (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and many more).

Furries: Fans and creators who appreciate anthropomorphic animals (animals with human characteristics), often expressing themselves through art, suits (fursuits), and a custom animal persona called a Fursona.

Alterhuman: An umbrella term for anyone who identifies as something other than (or in addition to) a typical human being.

Therians (Therianthropy): Individuals who involuntarily or spiritually identify as non-human animals that exist on Earth (such as wolves, cats, or foxes) on an internal level. Their specific animal identity is called a Theriotype.

Otherkin: People who identify, wholly or in part, as non-human beings that may be mythological, fictional, or from other dimensions/universes (such as dragons, elves, angels, or aliens).

Otherpaw / Otherkin variants: Terms used within broader subcultures to describe specific types of non-human or animalistic spiritual/psychological experiences.

Plural Systems: Systems where a single body shares space with multiple distinct consciousnesses, identities, or system members (often referred to as alters, headmates, or systemmates).

Plantkin: Individuals who identify as plants on a non-physical level (such as trees, flowers, or vines).

Objectkin: People who identify as inanimate objects (such as crystals, books, or musical instruments).

Conceptkin: Those who identify as abstract concepts, ideas, or forces of nature (such as time, the cosmos, or specific emotions).

Copinglinks / Otherlinks:

Animals or beings that someone chooses to deeply connect with, emulate, or use as a coping mechanism, chosen consciously rather than experienced as an involuntary identity.

Hearted Identities (Animal-hearted / Otherhearted):

Individuals who feel a deep, profound emotional, psychological, or kinship connection to a specific animal or being, without identifying as them literally.

Fictionkin: People who identify as specific characters from fictional works (books, movies, anime, games, etc.) on a spiritual, psychological, or identity level.

Factkin: Individuals who identify as real-life historical figures or real people from the past or present, distinct from who they are in their current physical life.

Whether you are part of these communities, exploring your path, an ally, or just curious, everyone is welcome here! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. ✨
