Egesta Comics began in 1991 by long-time friends Chris Howard and Jeff Wasson when they created the self-published small press mini-comic series

Dressed for Success

. What began as a summer lark after their first year of post-secondary education quickly turned into an ongoing story with a print run that grew with its readership.

It centres around the misadventures of Alex Corbett and Walter Andrewkowski, two guys thrown together by chance, now making their way in a crazy universe one adventure at a time. All the while trying to stay one step ahead of the intergalactic mafia with the hopes of turning a profit.

Chris and Jeff have worked on the series, on and off, over the years and in that time produced 25 issues of a black & white mini-comics run as well as 2 storylines of a full-colour webcomic run consisting of 200+ pages. They have a lot of fun creating this series which is equal parts science fiction, adventure and comedy with a healthy dose of pop culture references and mashups.
