Eduardo Silva: Problem Solver, Innovator, and Lifelong Learner
Eduardo Silva has dedicated his career to solving complex technical problems, pioneering innovative solutions, and continuously seeking to improve the world around him. Eduardo holds two degrees in Electronics Engineering and Automation Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (FIME-UANL), Class of 1989, and has more than two decades of experience in the industry, specializing in troubleshooting and implementing automation systems. Additionally, he was a professor at the Facultad de Ciencias Químicas at UANL, where he taught courses on Industrial Engineering.

In one instance, a light rail train had been out of service for two months due to an issue that baffled the entire technical team. One of the propulsion system’s electronic boards, an expensive component, kept burning out, and no one could pinpoint the root cause. Eduardo was brought in as a consultant and applied his unique troubleshooting method, honed over years of experience. In just 10 hours, he identified the unlikely culprit—a shorted proximity sensor located in the knife switch, which powered the entire train but had no direct connection to the propulsion system. This keen insight allowed Eduardo to solve a problem that had eluded the team for weeks.
In another situation, a technician had been working on a train for three days, frustrated by his inability to find the cause of an electrical issue. After multiple failed attempts to fix the problem, he left the electrical panel in a complete mess, with wires disconnected and scattered everywhere. Eduardo was asked to step in and take over. Despite the chaotic state of the panel, he methodically rewired the entire system, quickly diagnosing the problem and restoring the train to full operation within six hours. His calm, organized approach under pressure is a testament to his technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
Eduardo’s contributions go far beyond technical troubleshooting. Frustrated by the hours spent searching for spare parts in a vast storeroom catalog—sometimes taking up to an hour—he took the initiative to solve the problem. Eduardo researched and implemented an online database using the ZOHO platform, single-handedly creating a streamlined website. He personally input all the data, making it possible for over 300 technicians and mechanics to find parts in under 10 seconds. Furthermore, he developed an online system that simplified task logging for maintenance workers and allowed supervisors to retrieve information quickly for follow-up actions. For his innovative solutions, Eduardo was awarded and financially compensated. Notably, years later, Cisco was hired to replicate his system on a larger scale, underscoring the lasting impact of his work.
Eduardo’s ability to innovate extends into his community work as well. At his church, he was a pioneer in integrating technology into the worship service. While others used outdated overhead projectors, Eduardo introduced computers and PowerPoint to display scriptures and song lyrics. He later expanded this to include video recording and streaming of church services, years before live streaming became commonplace.
In addition to his technical expertise, Eduardo ran a successful web design company for over 10 years. During this time, he also contributed to his local community by writing a technology and personal development column for several years for the newspaper El Nuevo Georgia. Eduardo didn’t just write for the paper—he also created and design their new website, streamlining their online presence. Today, the site is maintained by a third-party, but Eduardo’s vision laid the foundation for the newspaper’s digital platform.
However, not all business ventures were smooth. When his largest client underwent a leadership change, Eduardo faced financial challenges after the new owner significantly reduced his fees. To supplement his income, he began driving for Uber while continuing to provide IT services. Eventually, he chose to leave the client after realizing they were being unreasonable, only to later discover that the company had hired four employees to handle the work he had previously managed alone. Despite these difficulties, Eduardo was later called back to help the client during a private cinema event, where he restored two projectors for the event, once again proving his reliability and professionalism.
Eduardo’s personal interests are as varied as his career. Since January 2020, he has dedicated himself to studying the Scriptures more deeply, exploring biblical topics from the original Hebrew perspective, with the aim of returning to the biblical roots of the time of Jesus (Yeshua) and the Apostles, and gaining a clearer, more faithful understanding of the Bible.
Through this journey, Eduardo focuses on examining biblical passages within their original historical, cultural, and linguistic context, setting aside religious, denominational, and doctrinal frameworks that have developed over time and often influence modern interpretations. His approach emphasizes Scripture interpreting Scripture, seeking consistency between the Old and New Testaments as part of God’s established plan, as originally taught by Moses, the Prophets, Yeshua (Jesus), and the Apostles.
On his YouTube channel, Eduardo develops biblical studies not with the intention of positioning himself as another teacher of biblical roots, but with the purpose of encouraging and equipping people to study the Scriptures for themselves. His goal is to help others ask better questions, examine the text carefully, and rediscover the foundations of the faith as they were originally understood, free from later distortions introduced—intentionally or unintentionally—by individuals and institutions that have drifted from God’s original purpose and design.
In terms of health, Eduardo has managed to maintain a consistency chain of exercise, something he struggled with for much of his life. Since June 2022, he has exercised six days a week, inspired by the book The Consistency Chain for Network Marketing by George Campbell and Jim Packard. The results he has achieved are a testament that anyone can do it. He is so enthusiastic about this accomplishment that he recommends the book to everyone.
Eduardo is also deeply involved in the Gig economy, having successfully worked with platforms like Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Instacart, Field Nation and others. His expertise in this area allows him to help others explore flexible ways to supplement their income, pay off debt, and save for the future. Most recently, he has ventured into the world of AI, creating several AI assistants that open up new possibilities in a variety of fields.
Eduardo firmly believes in the power of action. He often says, “You can think about making a change for years, but it only takes one day to take action and start moving in the right direction.” Whether through his articles, live group video calls, or one-on-one consultations, Eduardo is always looking for ways to help others improve their lives and find creative solutions to their problems.
