Über Edward Clark Ohanga
I am a Kenyan Anglican priest, scholar, teacher, and storyteller, currently pursuing doctoral studies in World Christianity at Princeton Theological Seminary. I am fascinated by the ways ordinary people make meaning of faith, community, memory, and the places they call home.
My work moves between the classroom and the church, academic research and stories gathered along the way. I am especially passionate about African Christianity, indigenous forms of knowledge, ecumenism, immigrant experiences, and the wisdom carried through communities, conversations, songs, and everyday life. Through writing, research, teaching, and ministry, I hope to tell some of these stories well and create space for overlooked voices and forms of wisdom to be heard.
If something I write or share has spoken to you, 'buy me a coffee' helps support the ordinary things behind this work: books and research materials, research travel, conversations with communities, and the resources needed to keep writing and sharing.
More than anything, your support reminds me that these stories have found someone on the other side. It turns readers into companions along the way.
The coffee helps. The company means even more.
