Happy Tuesday!

I am finally off from school (for those who don't know, I work with special needs children in a middle school setting). I was so happy to be off for the summer and promptly came down with raging Covid. I had to laugh really...it figures right? So, slowly recovering from that and getting back up and around to do my absolute favorite thing...and that is creating free printables for the masses. Someone asked me recently why I don't charge for them. My answer is simple. When I first started making junk journals, I wasn't working. I couldn't afford glue much less fancy paper. I struggled along for quite a while, got a job, and finally was able to buy my own printer. I taught myself how to do digital art...and discovered images that were in the public domain. I decided to make tons of free things for other people to be able to use. It is lovely to be able to purchase junk journaling kits....but a lot of us are struggling with the rising costs of raising families and providing basic needs. Printables just kind of seem like the bottom of priorities for most of us. SO....in my long winded way, I sell very few in my etsy store and I put the majority of my time into creating things for you to use. I hope that you enjoy them, and can find lots of things here to make you happy. That is what it is about, creating is happiness. Making money creating printables is great, and I am not knocking it, but I also feel like giving is important too...so pay it forward, make something for a friend, nursing home, women's shelter....if you want to say thanks...buy me a coffee...but most of all....use these items to make yourself happy.
