Ed, you were very helpful , once again. I am still trying to test the board with steppers and PronterFace, but I only have old A4988 drivers to test with and I cannot find anywhere in the documentation how to set the jumpers for the old step/dir config. From the diagram on geithub, it looks like i have to jumper everything together?!? Can you explain how i need to jumper for the A4988 driver? Thanks.
It would be great if you showed where you got some of the setting like for microstepping. BTT either has terrible documentation or I just can't figure out where to find it. The image files of the board seem terrible - what am I not getting? Also if you could share with me how (what chip set) you used with the bug release of Marlin because i need to edit the steps per rev setting in config.h and recompile. Thanks.

Your videos are VERY helpful, but I still cannot get the board to work. It successfully builds, but device manager doesn't recognize it. Maybe it's because I have the BTT Octo Pro 1.1 but with the STM32H723 chipset....very frustrating!!! Maybe the board is defective?
There's a discord chat link in the description of videos. Tomorrow is my day off so I can answer a question between video recordings.
I am on EST, what is a good time for you? I just want to figure out why Device Manager doesn't show my Octopus Pro. It builds successfully, but I can't connect to the oard with PronterFace.
