1. Changing the font and spacing of my document once in a while. This allowed me to see the document and the words I’d written in a different light. It also made self-editing easier.
2. Experimenting with different types of narrators and POVs. Sometimes, I used the third person view to write, other times, the first person. I also wrote a chapter in 2 or more characters’ POVs. This helped me understand my characters better.
3. Reading different genres and different authors
4. Pomodoro. I stood up and stretched every 25 minutes.
5. Lofi music. I’m currently listening to a Naruto soundtrack lofi playlist. I only write with lofi music. It stimulates my brain and the habit has helped me ease into flow whenever it’s time to write.
