I was born in Romania, a communist country under a brutal dictatorship. My parents tried multiple times to escape and find sponsors who could help us start a new life abroad. Each attempt failed — they were turned back at the border and not allowed to leave. Once they found a sponsor they had to put a request in give up their jobs and take only bag packs with them. Nothing else. Eventually, we made it to Canada.
Today, under years of Liberal/NDP governance, I see the same patterns emerging here — and in many ways, it feels even worse than what we left behind. That’s why I created this page: to wake up fellow Canadians before we reach a point of no return.
Romania only broke free when its people rose up and executed the dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu and his wife. He had oppressed his own citizens for decades. I’m not calling for violence — I’m calling for awareness. Stop blindly trusting the mainstream media. Talk to your friends and family. Even if they disagree or distance themselves, speak the truth anyway. You might lose some friendships (I’ve lost a few myself), but you could also plant an important seed.
We must keep fighting for the future of our children and grandchildren. Don’t believe everything the media says about Pierre Poilievre and his team. He is the best person right now to lead Canada back to prosperity, freedom, and common sense.
