Introduction

Hi everyone, my name is Samuel, I'm a disabled 26 year old male with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and I'm a part-time varitety streamer and blogger. I write blog posts here and occasionally stream on Twitch here. My interests are music, video games, anime and anything technology / cyber security related. I look forward to getting to know you all!

What do you blog about?

The blog covers a variety of topics including disability, technology, security and product reviews. At the moment, I am current focusing on posts that cover disability experiences as I've got Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).

What is Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy?

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a progressive muscle-wasting condition, which is due to the dystrophin gene being effectively broken. The condition affects all muscles that require dystrophin, including the legs, body, chest, heart, lungs, etc. As my body can't produce the requried protien to grow and repair muscle, it wastes away over time.

What content do you aim to publish?

I will try and do a few posts on here as to give you exclusive updates on what I'm working on, ask or answer questions and give you an insight into what it's like to live with a disability. As I run a blog, I will also offer opportunities to write guest posts and get involved with the content I write, so be sure to support me for a chance to get involved!

What are your current goals?

Currently, I'm trying to save up for a house to move into, which is a challenge due to accessibility requirements and to grow in my current full-time job/ field. I'm also hoping to grow my blog and Twitch community and provide you all with more content to enjoy.
