WELCOME TO POST-NORMCORE Welcome to post-normcore, a personal media archive and creative project dedicated to Norm Macdonald’s legacy through rare footage, thematic edits, original short-form content, and fan restorations. I do not run a low-effort clip-farm channel, nor am I attempting to act as a strict chronological database. My goal is to build a creative home for unique Norm edits, including my flagship release: the 2-Hour Dirty Work VHS Assembly Cut Reconstruction ("Dirty Workprint"). THE COMMITMENT: 100% FREE & UNLOCKED Nothing will ever sit behind a paywall. Art should be accessible. The original 3rd-generation tape source of the 2-hour Assembly Cut was practically unwatchable: it lacked a finished soundtrack, featured empty cinema screens, and relied on rough production audio with Bob Saget yelling "Action!" offscreen. While the 83-minute Dirtier Cut remains the most faithful tribute to Norm and Bob's original vision, this full 2-hour reconstruction rescues 37 minutes of lost gems from obscurity. I have completely overhauled the project with remastered theatrical dialogue, original music cues, rebuilt foley sound effects, and subtle audio-visual easter eggs—transforming raw, disjointed bootleg footage into a cohesive 1998 home-theater experience. To unify the inconsistent tape exposures, I applied a light analog noise-reduction pass (taking an Inland Empire style approach to Topaz) to clean up visual noise while preserving the authentic 720x480 VHS texture. Paired with a custom color grade modeled after a 25-year-old 35mm film print, the extended cuts and lost Chris Farley scenes now feel like a rediscovered theatrical preview reel.
