Hey there! I am Daniel, and I am your average longtime fan of the Office and serial re-watcher (seasons 1-9 every time, in order). 

Like Dwight cuddling a gourd at night, I felt a gaping hole in my life. That hole was never being able to experience anything close to being in and exploring Dunder Mifflin for myself. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and start creating Dunder Mifflin, from scratch, using the free 3D software Blender. My goal is simple: recreate the Scranton office of Dunder Mifflin as close to the real show as possible using my developing 3D modeling, rendering, and web development skills, and to allow other fans to experience Dunder Mifflin for themselves. I also want to get involvement from other fans, and listen to what people think should be added, so that it's a community-driven project and not just siloed to all my crazy ideas. 

Slowly but surely I am hand-modeling (or using hand-scanned objects) everything you see on the site, and I don't plan on stopping modeling and developing this anytime soon. I sometimes lose motivation or get stuck on a difficult modeling challenge, but knowing there is a group of Office fans wanting to see this continue to improve gives me new motivation every day! While help would be great, I have decided to keep this project my passion project, and I will be the only one modeling and creating the Blender model that generates the tour images. Thank you all for your desire to join in, but if it gets out of my hands, I won't feel like I'm being true to my first goal, to create it and learn for myself!
