You Were Not Called Just to Survive, You Were Equipped to Triumph!
The Battle Is Real, However So Is the Victory Christ Has Already Given You
Being a believer in Christ is a daily challenge, and what a wonderful challenge it is!
Following Jesus does not mean you will never face resistance. It means you have been given everything necessary to face that resistance without surrendering to it.
Do not mistake spiritual warfare for spiritual abandonment.
The enemy does not want you walking confidently in your identity, exercising your God-given authority, fulfilling your assignment, or producing fruit for the Kingdom of God.
And hear me clearly, Satan is not greater than the Christ who lives in you!
Just look at Romans 8:37 (AMPC) “Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.”
Did you hear that?
Scripture does not say you are barely surviving.
It does not say you are almost a conqueror.
It says plainly; AMID ALL THESE THINGS YOU ARE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR THROUGH CHRIST!
What Things? Well, it's the things that Satan can and is throwing at you.
So stop approaching every battle as though Satan gets to determine the outcome. Stop allowing temptation, opposition, disappointment, weariness, and spiritual resistance to convince you that you have been defeated.
Ephesians 6:10-11 (AMPC) “In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength which His boundless might provides. Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.”
God did not send you into warfare unequipped!
He gave you His Word. He gave you His Spirit. He gave you prayer. He gave you faith. He gave you His armor. He gave you authority in Christ.
And most importantly, He gave you Himself and His Authority!
Yes, being a believer is challenging, however praise God anyway! The challenge is not evidence that Christ has abandoned you, it is another opportunity to discover just how powerful His strength is when your own strength runs out.
You were never called merely to withstand.
Through Christ, you were equipped to TRIUMPH!
Question For Today
Since God has already declared you more than a conqueror and equipped you with everything necessary to stand against the enemy, why are you still talking, thinking, praying, and living as though Satan has more power over your life than Christ does?
If You Have Ears To Hear, Then Hear It!
I pray for you each and every day.
All God's Best!
