Stop Chasing Positions - Get Into Position

The Body of Christ Does Not Need More People Fighting for Titles, It Needs Believers Positioned for Christ

FYI - There’s definitely a link to a deeper study on this subject at the end of this Dominion short!!

To the Body of Christ, the Beloved - Stop chasing positions and get yourselves into position...for Christ!

Some of you are working harder to get a position in the church than you are working to get into position for Christ.

You want the title.

You want the microphone.

You want the platform.

You want the office.

You want your name announced.

You want people to recognize your authority.

You want somebody to call you Apostle, Prophet, Bishop, Pastor, Elder, Evangelist, Minister, Doctor, something that tells everybody you are somebody.

Yet here is the question, does Heaven recognize what you are so desperate for people to recognize?

Jesus gave us the standard.

Mark 10:43-45 (AMPC) “But this is not to be so among you; instead, whoever desires to be great among you must be your servant, And whoever wishes to be most important and first in rank among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to have service rendered to Him, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for (instead of) many.”

Did you hear Christ?

Greatness in the Kingdom is not determined by how many people serve you, it is revealed by how willing you are to serve.

Jesus was not chasing earthly position, because He already knew Who He was.

And maybe that is part of the problem.

When you know whose you are, you do not need a title to convince yourself who you are.

Stop trying to look important and start becoming useful to the Kingdom.

Stop asking, “When are they going to recognize me?”

Start asking, “Lord, am I positioned where You can use me?”

Because there is a tremendous difference between having a church position and being in Kingdom position.

1 Peter 5:5-6 (AMPC) “Likewise, you who are younger and of lesser rank, be subject to the elders (the ministers and spiritual guides of the church)—[giving them due respect and yielding to their counsel]. Clothe (apron) yourselves, all of you, with humility [as the garb of a servant, so that its covering cannot possibly be stripped from you, with freedom from pride and arrogance] toward one another. For God sets Himself against the proud (the insolent, the overbearing, the disdainful, the presumptuous, the boastful)—[and He opposes, frustrates, and defeats them], but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble. Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you,”

Did you catch that?

You do not have to exalt yourself.

You do not have to manufacture your opportunity.

You do not have to manipulate your way into somebody's inner circle.

You do not have to campaign for spiritual recognition.

You do not have to push somebody else down so you can climb over them.

Get into position before God, and let GOD determine when, where, how, and whether you are elevated.

Some believers are frustrated because people have not given them the position they believe they deserve.

Maybe God is asking, “Why are you so concerned about the position they have not given you when you still have not fully occupied the position I HAVE given you?”

You are already part of the Body!

1 Corinthians 12:18 (AMPC) “But as it is, God has placed and arranged the limbs and organs in the body, each [particular one] of them, just as He wished and saw fit and with the best adaptation.”

God does the placing.

Read that again.

GOD DOES THE PLACING!

Your responsibility is not to chase somebody else's position.

Your responsibility is to faithfully occupy the place where God has positioned you.

The hand does not need to become the eye to have value.

The foot does not need the title of hand to become significant.

Every part becomes powerful when it functions where God placed it.

So Body of Christ, enough with the competition.

Enough with the title chasing.

Enough with the platform envy.

Enough with measuring your importance by invitations, followers, applause, recognition, seating arrangements, speaking opportunities, church offices, robes, collars, titles, and proximity to influential people.

The Kingdom is not your career ladder.

Get before God.

Get humble.

Get obedient.

Get submitted.

Get faithful.

Get your motives right.

Get your character right.

Get your heart right.

Get your priorities right.

Get yourself INTO POSITION FOR CHRIST.

Because when Christ returns, He is not going to be impressed by the title printed before your name.

He is going to be concerned with whether you faithfully did what He positioned you to do.

Question For Today

If God never gives you the title, platform, recognition, position, microphone, influence, or applause you have been chasing, will serving Jesus and faithfully occupying the place HE assigned you still be enough, or has your hunger for position exposed that this was never completely about Christ in the first place?

Stop chasing positions.

GET INTO POSITION...FOR CHRIST!
